I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with a specialization in Spiritual Depth Psychology; and my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design. I received in-depth clinical training at Women's Clinic and Family Counseling Center, and have worked with people experiencing symptoms of distress due to: anxiety, depression, disordered eating, phase of life transitions, relationship problems, family issues, heartache, personality disorders, trauma, and career issues. In addition to my clinical experience, I volunteer at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where I supervise teenagers at the Center For The Study Of Young People/Teen Line.
Prior to pursuing a career in mental health, I worked in the fields of fine art, and commercial photography. Balancing employment in commercial photography, and my own fine art practice proved to be both rewarding and challenging. Earning a living in a creative field while staying true to one’s own artistic vision can be difficult, but fulfilling. Having worked in the arts, I am especially interested in working with and supporting clients who are on their own creative path.
